1. The membership activities and operations of the organization are conducted through a 501(c)(4) private non-profit organization and funding basis. Contributions made toward LWVT-PC operations and advocacy activities are not tax-deductible.
2. The nonpartisan voter education (e.g., forums, publications) and voter registration activities of the organization are conducted through a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization called the Education Fund. Contributions made to this Fund are tax-deductible. The Fund is managed pursuant to separate bylaws and with its own board of directors.
The mission of the Education Fund is exclusively non-partisan voter information and education.
